How to download Facebook Reels

Save a reel in four quick steps. No app, browser extension or Facebook login required.

  1. Step 1: Copy the video link

    Open the reel or video in the Facebook app or website, tap Share and choose Copy link.

  2. Step 2: Paste it into FB Reels Downloader

    Paste the link into the box at the top of this page and press Download.

  3. Step 3: Choose a format

    Pick HD or SD MP4 with sound, or Audio to save only the soundtrack as M4A.

  4. Step 4: Save the file

    Your browser downloads the file to its usual Downloads folder (the Files app on iPhone, Downloads on Android and computers).

Save reels to your phone or computer

Facebook lets you save a reel to a collection inside the app, but that bookmark disappears when the reel is deleted and never leaves your account. FB Reels Downloader gives you a real MP4 file instead: it reads the public reel page, finds the files that belong to your reel (not the suggested reels around it) and streams them to your device with a clear file name.

On a phone

In the Facebook app, tap Share → Copy link on the reel, then open this page in Chrome, Safari or Samsung Internet, paste and download. On iPhone the file lands in the Files app; tap Share → Save Video to move it to Photos.

On a computer

Open the reel on facebook.com, copy the address from the browser bar (it looks like facebook.com/reel/123…), paste it above and press Download.
