About FB Reels Downloader

Why we built FB Reels Downloader

Facebook Reels are full of recipes, workouts, tutorials, music and moments worth keeping, but Facebook offers no reliable way to save them for offline viewing. Most “downloader” sites we tried were slow, buried the real button under advertising, or asked for permissions they had no reason to need.

We built FB Reels Downloader to be the opposite: one box, one click, and the file you asked for. No accounts, no browser extensions, no fake buttons and no watermarks.

How it works

When you paste a link, our server opens the public Facebook page exactly as a logged-out visitor would, reads the video information Facebook already publishes for its own player, and lists the files that belong to your video. When you click Download, the file streams from Facebook’s content delivery network straight to your device. We never store the video.

Our principles

• Public content only. If a video is private, friends-only or in a closed group, we can’t and won’t download it.
• Privacy first. We don’t ask for your Facebook login, we pseudonymise IP addresses in our logs, and analytics only run if you allow them.
• Respect for creators. Downloads are for personal use. We honour copyright notices quickly; see our DMCA policy.
• Accessible to everyone. The site is designed to meet WCAG 2.2 AA; see our accessibility statement.
